So it was back to getting footage for the reel and admittedly just having some good old fun acting. This time around I wanted to show a more irrational, crazed and emotional character, as my prior scene was very collected and controlled. Having been highly inspired by Woody Allen's "Vicky Christina Barcelona" my scene partner Ryan García and I, hoped to explore the fiery relationship between the characters portrayed by Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem. This time rather than a pure copy, we decided to write our own script. The wonderful cinematographer Justin Knodel shot us on a RED Epic Camera, and the location was a snazzy apartment at the Marriott in Downtown LA, so we felt extremely privileged. We are now waiting to see the finished product but in the meantime I'd love to thank Colin Meyer (Gaffer), Emily Castillo (AC), Jordan Sparks (Sound) and Jessie Frahm (hair & makeup) for making it all come together, and of course Justin Knodel and Ryan García for making the Magic happen.
